Hi everyone! I'm Ashley and I'm from Beijing, China. I have just finished my freshman year as a mathematics major student in Beijing Institute of Technology. I don't really like travelling like many people do because I just dont't like the large crowd of people. And after spending my high school just next to the Tian'anmen Square and the Palace Museum in Beijing, I became more afiaid of large crowd of people. I don't really like taking photos of myself so the photo I attached is taken about two years ago when I was preparing for an exam in high school. I am the kind of person who needs some time to really get into a new group of people so I will probably need more time to be talktive in class and with all of you outside the class. I hope we can have a great time together in Berkeley for the next couple of weeks.
Hi Ashley. I can understand that you don't like a large crowd of people. I don't like that either. In my hometown we have many tourists as well, but no way as many as you must have in Beijing, therefore I can understand why you have never been to the Great Wall. Today in class when we worked together you didn't seem to be that shy or quite, but it's good to know for all of us, that we can help you and be outgoing with you! See you tomorrow. Julia
ReplyDeleteHello, Ashley!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of the large crowds of people too, but for me it seems, that the Berkeley crowd is very friendly and helpful in general. Don't you think? I hope, these weeks for both of us will become not only a school of language, but a school of communication as well. Good luck! Masha
Hi Ashley!
ReplyDeleteIt's rather strange that you describe yourself as quite and not talkative. Like Julia, I'm also deeply impressed by your passion and fluency in oral English. Don't be too modest next time! Fancy meeting you! Addison
