This weekend was a lot of exercise for me!On Friday me and my relatives took the bart to San Francisco. We walked all the way from Embarcadero to the Golden Gate Bridge along the pier and coast (about 5.5 miles one way). We past Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf and had a look around. But it was so crowded that we continued walking after a short stay. It took us two hours of walking until we finally arrived at the Golden Gate Bridge. Unfortunately we all were really exhausted and it was very windy, so we decided to go back and cross the Golden Gate Bridge next weekend.
Moreover it was typically San Francisco weather: When we looked out of the window Friday morning it was cloudy during the time we arrived in San Francisco the sun was shining! And unluckily the fog came in just before we arrived at the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather and its changing is something I haven't been used to yet.
On our way back we stopped in a typical American Diner. I love how the restaurant was decorated and the coolest thing was, that the checkout was in an old Chevrolet car with no top. I really liked that place and the food, so probably we’ll go there again.
And of course I watched the final of the World Cup today. My friends were so kind and called me with Skype, so I could take part in the party back home!
So I had a great weekend and I hope you too! Julia
