My one-day tour to San Francisco---From Rebecca

It’s 9:00 pm. Now I’m sitting in front of my laptop and writing my excellent one-day tour to San Francisco in the blog. I can’t wait sharing this experience with you guys!

I set out at 10 o’clock in Saturday morning from where I live, the Berk, with two of my friends, Sophie and Vivian. We walked to the Bart station with the help of Goggle Map in order to not get lost. (By the way, Goggle Map is really useful when you are in a strange place! It can find your current location and give you a right direction to your destination!) It takes us $3.90 individually and 45 minutes to get there. The first station of our tour is the Union Square. We walked along a crowded street with many beautiful buildings and American flags on both sides before we get there. The Union Square is San Francisco's crown jewel of shopping districts, it has a blue Heroes & Hearts art at the entrance and the Dewey Monument is really magnificent. There are a lot of stores, coffee spots and restaurants there. People from the whole world get there for shopping, so do I. So we headed to a big shopping mall directly: the Macys. It is really a shopping paradise with all kinds of staff: makeup, clothes, handbags, shoes, etc. And I found it difficult to choose because there were too many options! We wandered around and bought stuff in the Macys for almost 3 hours without eating lunch. Maybe all the women will not feel hungry when shopping ha-ha! It was about 3:00 pm when we took a rest, ate a junior hamburger and ready for the next station: the Westfield. It’s another big shopping mall in SF with a lot of brands, like Macys. We bought some jeans in Levis (it’s so cheap) and a pair of shoe in TOM’S there. We finally went back home at 8 pm, exhausted and hungry. Thinking about our first tour to San Francisco, we did nothing but shopping. We didn’t have enough time to go to the Golden Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf, so I will go these places the next time.

San Francisco gives me a good impression. It’s active, enthusiastic and excellent. It’s a hybrid of urban an outdoor living. I am also impressed by the walkable street and public transit, and it makes me feel really comfortable and convenient. But an old man I met in SF told me that it was very expensive living in SF and I guess so. Anyway, I love SF and I am just planning my next tour to SF! Hope we can go there together!
