Interview with UC Berkeley student - Kevin

I interviewed an girl who I met in the computer room at Unit 2. She was studying on the desk and agreed to answer my few questions. She is a freshman and she doesn't know much about the campus. She came to Berkeley two weeks ago from southern California, where she was born and raised. She told me that she was very surprised to get accepted into UC Berkeley due to strong competition among all students. The reason why she chose to study at Berkeley was because she had been here for once, and she loved the atmosphere here. She is now majoring in architecture and she said UC Berkeley is her dream school because the buildings and architects on campus are good for her major, meaning that she is obsessed with architectures in Berkeley. When it comes to admission, she thought she was not going to be accepted, but surprisingly she did. She likes people in Berkeley most, but she could not give me any reason. The worst thing in Berkeley for her is obvious compared to the best. She said actually she is satisfied with everything in Berkeley now, except price. Living in this area is so expensive that she has to strictly manage her allowance. She usually spent four hours a day working on her homework in high school, and she is looking forward to her college life now. So far her favorite place on campus is library because she loves to stay inside.
