Interview of a UC Berkeley student posted by Jeremy

Due to privacy, I didn't get her name.

Q1. Where are you from?
I'm from United States, my father is an Indian American and my mother is from Korea.

Q2. How long have you been a student at Cal?
2 years as a transfer student.

Q3. Why did you choose this school?
UCB is a prestige school with a comparatively low tuition as a public school.

Q4. How hard was it for you to get admitted to this school?
If I want to get enrolled as a transfer student in UCB, my GPA of my first two year in my local school should be high and my application should be delicately prepared. So I think I was pretty luckily that I get into UCB.

Q5. What's your major?
Political science.

Q6. What do you like most about this school?
Everyone here is clever, hard-working and competitive.

Q7. What do you like the least about?
Public transportation is inconvenient here, and the campus stadium is charged.

Q8. How much time do you usually spend on homework?
My projects usually involve social practice and surveys. So there isn't a fixed time of how long I complete the work. Sometimes it takes several weeks, sometimes it takes the whole semester.

Q9. Where on campus do you like to just hang out?
I usually go to libraries with my friends and do some preparations and surveys.
