I'm Addison and I'm from China. I just ended up my freshman year as a student major in computer science, yet I still want to focus on math one day. Besides amusements, I have a wide range of interests and some knowledge in almost the fields that I concern; for example, math, history, art, science, culture and etc. You may have a conversation with me on a variety of topics, at least I may refresh you with a different point of view. I hope we can spark more intelligence as well as get a better understanding of the world that we share through communications. Here's a picture of me riding my horse last summer, a crucible that enlightened me.
Fancy meeting you guys in such a place like California.
I just find it really unbelievable that you want to focus on mathematics in your future because after majoring in math for one year, I gradually understand how difficult it is. And probably it is a little bit hard for you to understand why I also have to learn the difficult physics, chemistry and programming things. But those other subjects really do help me understand certain terms in mathematics a lot better. However, since you mentioned that you want some challenges, mathematics is definitely a great choice for you. So I'm looking forward to seeing you majoring in math one day. Ashley
ReplyDeleteMy roommate learns mathematics also. But he wants to find a job in ecomomy and finance area in the future, not for theoretical research purpose. And i am sure this can make a lot of money. Furthermore, I think learning math well can attract girls as they will ask you questions and you have chances to prove yourself, maybe it depends on individuals, but it works well on my roommate, many girls always come to ask him questions. kenny
